In New Zealand, the test and tag frequency refers to how long is needed before an electrical appliance must be tested and tagged. The AS/NZS3760:2022 Standard provides a guide for testing and tagging intervals, which we have provided below for ease of access and understanding.
Here are the main intervals that business owners should be aware of:

| 5 years | Locations where the equipment is not prone to flexing and regular use in locations such as store rooms, server rooms, and isolated equipment used on an irregular basis. |
